Schoology

My school district has begun to roll out the use of the Learning Management System Schoology. It allows our teachers to interact with students and parents about class updates, assignments, grades, and more.

Below is a presentation of a professional development I helped create for the teachers at my school site. It was an introduction about setting up a basic gradebook with assignments.

As a team, we discovered features that could enhance our teaching and our students learning. My favorite feature is the ability to quickly comment on student work and send them actionable feedback.

This presentation and PD were developed and adapted from materials created by Brad Kemp @brdkmp
